Aromatic and balanced with a lovely natural freshness. Well structured with brioche, apple and pear notes and a very long finish.
Definitely a food wine, this “Star” is perfect with roast or pan-fried chicken dishes and has enough matière to match Asian salmon recipes. Heavenly with Comte and other nutty cheeses. Ages very well: wonderful cellaring potential with optimum drinking window 3-7 years post vintage.
